![]() For this new CRBot frontend, here's what I got from their page:
A simple userinterface. Just click and go!
Just enter your general settings (Quake2 and CrBot directory) and the rest is as simple as kicking butt with a hyperblaster :) Bot Commander has the slickest look and the most user friendly interface I've seen when examining the various bot launchers out there.
Bot Commander vs Other Launchers score : 1-0
Rene must be the biggest Quake2 fan I've ever met! So, you can expect the Bot Commander to be supported for a long time to come, and I'm sure he will gladly answer all your questions about it. He's a very dedicated programmer! ;)
Bot Commander vs Other Launchers score : 2-0
Rene has wisely made use of the Delphi programming environment to create his bot launcher.
Delphi allows for the distribution of single executables, without the need of distributing any DLL and/or runtime-files. If he would have programmed it in any other language, you'd have to download and install many more files that would clutter up your system. And you wouldn't want that, it takes longer to download, and that stinks! ;)
Bot Commander vs Other Launchers score : 3-0
Get it in the frontends section.
